Milan, Como and the lakes of Northern Italy
It’s quite hard to describe Milan in few words. Milan is the heart of Northern Italy, the capital of fashion and the national center of work and productivity, history, arts, culture, food, passion and emotion. Milan is the perfect symbol of Italy, and at the same time we can say that Italy is extraordinarily represented by Milan.
Walking through the streets of the city, it’s impossible not be fascinated by the typical atmosphere of Milan. It’s all about a mix of hectic and relaxed lifestyle which can confuse at first, but it soon becomes one of the main reasons why Milanesi (Milan citizens) love their city. Everywhere in Milan you can perceive the zest for life: walking in the shadow of Duomo and Madonnina, in Sempione Park – the green lung of the city – through the alleys in Brera, along the Navigli – where you can find street market during spring and summer time. The most European city in Italy offers to tourists a vast cultural heritage, ready to be explored.
Beyond the attractions that the city proudly shows, Milan offers authentic hidden gems, secret corners and bits of local culture that can positively surprise, thanks to the intimate feelings they can evoke. This is why we believe that the best way to capture the beauty of the city is to visit Milan with locals, through the eyes of those who truly know the city, who live and love it always, even on a grey and rainy day :-). And you will all feel, even for just a few of hours, authentic Milanesi.

Como is the lake treasure of Northern Italy. The Como lake is a touristic destination known worldwide for its beauty, also well described by Alessandro Manzoni in “The Betrothed”. The small houses perched along the coast as well as beautiful villas attracting billionaires and Hollywood celebrities, make Como lake an exceptional and outstanding scenery, unique of its kind. You just need to walk along the Como lakeside to understand why the online newspaper “The Huffington Post” declared it in 2014 as the most beautiful lake in the world.
Como and its lake can offer an enormous heritage, made of culture, arts, nature, wine and food. This is also leveraged by locals who know very well the extraordinary beauty of Como and they are proud to share it with the rest of the world.
